About Whitney

Whitney Bolar has a creative passion for writing, drawing, coding, and graphic design that they hope to utilize toward a career in creating documents centered on software and hardware. Whitney graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in technical communication and computer science with a minor in visual communication design and a certificate in user experience. While a full-time student, Whitney interned for Accountable Custodial and Maintenance to develop their website and market approach through research and front-end programming. They also share the skills they have learned through their academic and college experience with other students through their role as an academic coach in the JFK Library for EWU Programs Leading to University Success. Whitney volunteered as a Eagle Ambassador, where they helped serve as a university ambassador to prospective students by promoting EWU through campus events and student panels. Whitney learned design, content management, research, technical writing, programming, and interpersonal communication through experience. Whitney served as a technical writer and visual creator for iFixit from January 2018 to March 2018 and a technical writer for EWU Information Technology from April 2019 to June 2019.
